What is a Neutral Runner?

Neutral runners provide greater cushioning and are typically advised for those with high arches and/or orthotics.

This differs from Motion Control runners, commonly known as ‘supportive’, which are effective for those with flat feet.

If orthotics are worn in a shoe with Motion Control, there is the chance of overcorrecting your foot posture due to the orthotic and shoe correction compounding on each other.

– It is for this reason we suggest neutral runners be paired with orthotics

Which shoe is for me?

Remember, shoes should feel comfortable from the first step if you have orthotics try out a Neutral runner.

If unsure whether your foot suits you, ask one of our friendly podiatrists!
