Alyssia graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) and has worked in private practice, residential aged care and community settings. Alyssia has a strong interest in lower limb musculoskeletal conditions and exercise rehabilitation. She has also completed additional training in Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation Therapies Level 1 and 2, as well as Tool Assisted Massage to provide patients with more treatment options.

Alyssia is passionate about providing evidence-based care to her patients, which prompted her to start her research journey in her final year at university, investigating the reliability of different handheld dynamometers in measuring ankle muscle strength.

Alyssia is fluent in English, Cantonese and Chinese (Mandarin). She is eager to utilise her trilingual proficiency to help a diverse spectrum of patients in moving pain-free and returning to their regular activities.

Outside of work, Alyssia enjoys traveling with her family and friends, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants in different cities and staying active through yoga.
