Highett Podiatry Results Guarantee
Custom Orthotics Guarantee
At Highett Podiatry we have full confidence in our podiatrist’s ability to prescribe you an accurately customised orthotic. That is why our fully prescribed custom orthotics come with a comfort guarantee.
REMEMBER YOUR ORTHOTICS ARE MEANT TO BE COMFORTABLE.
Although, if you can’t feel them initially, this may indicate that they aren’t corrective enough, so some pressure (usually felt behind the middle of your arch) is normal. Please let us know if they aren’t comfortable………..we are here to ensure your outcomes are to yours and our expectations.
Please be mindful to let us know within the first month of receiving your orthotics if you don’t feel they are quite right. Highett Podiatry prides itself on providing the highest level of care and is happy to review and modify your orthotics at no cost to you if they need adjusting in the first 6 weeks.
The reason for an uncomfortable custom orthotic is usually due to one of two reasons; a wrong prescription or a faulty scan. If your custom orthotics, prescribed by one of our podiatrists, are deemed not to be comfortable due to an issue with the prescription or scan, then our podiatrists will issue new orthotics with a brand-new prescription or scan at no extra charge.
Please note, shoe choice is also a major reason also for orthotics to fail or be uncomfortable. Please take note of footwear advice given by your podiatrist to ensure the best outcome for your orthotic prescription. If advice is not adhered to this may result in the guarantee being voided.
We also encourage you to do your strengthening exercises, self-massage and soft tissue therapy, as advised by your podiatrist, and continue with manual therapy treatments to aid in your injury recovery.
It is important that you follow all of your podiatrist’s advice and follow instructions given to you by our practice. Failure to do so will result in voiding our guarantee policy.
Any unauthorised adjustments made to Highett Podiatry’s custom-prescribed orthotics by another practitioner or clinic outside of Highett Podiatry will also result in the guarantee being voided.
Nail Surgery Guarantee
At Highett Podiatry we pride ourselves on professional care and quality service. That is why all nail surgery performed by our podiatrists comes with our 100% positive outcome guarantee.
There is nothing worse than an ingrown toenail returning soon after nail surgery. The main reasons for this occurring are:
- A small nail spike left at the root when the nail has been resected allowing for regrowth
- Phenol not adequately destroying the nail matrix allowing for nail regrowth
Fortunately, we estimate that these things only occur in about 2-5% of cases. If this happens to you or the original ingrown toenail problem returns following nail surgery, then our podiatrists will happily perform the nail surgery again to rectify the problem at no extra charge, within six months of the initial surgery date.
Please follow dressing regimes and post operative care instructions given to you by your podiatrist to ensure a positive outcome from your procedure. If it is deemed that you have not followed this, it will void guarentee policy.
